Dog Park Rules and Regulations
Welcome to the City of Las Cruces off-leash Dog Park
Please abide by the following rules when using the park:
1. Owners are responsible for their dogs and their children.
2. Children under 5 years old are not permitted in the park.
3. Owners must pick up their dog's waste.
4. Immediately isolate or remove any aggressive, dominating, or
over-excited dog.
5. No food or treats allowed in the park.
REMEMBER: DOG OWNERS ARE LEGALLY AND
FINANCIALLY
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR DOGS(S)
Proper Etiquette at the Dog Park
Please help keep your park clean; pick up trash and dog waste; trash cans are provided.
Do not groom your dog in the park.
Please have your dog spayed or neutered.
Make sure your dog has basic obedience skills and keep vaccinations current.
Your dog must be wearing his/her rabies tag and pet license if you reside in the City limits,
County residents require proof of micro chip at all times, failure to do so is a violation of the
City of Las Cruces Animal Control Ordinance, you will be asked to leave the park and may be cited for the violation(s).
Never leave your dog unattended in the park and always keep an eye on them. Mischief can happen quickly, remove your dog from the park if they display aggression.
No more than 3 dogs per person / per visit.
Don’t bring any puppies under the age of four months old, young puppies are subject to contagious diseases such as the parvo virus.
Please keep your dog on a leash until you enter the park and always be respectful of others.
