1.  Where is the park?

    The park is located on Hermosa Street in the Hadley Complex.  It is behind the Meerschidt Rec Center and the Police Training Academy; between Hadley Avenue and Griggs Avenue

2.  What is the fee/charge for using the park?

There is no fee to use the park.  If you would like to make a donation, you may.

3.  I've never been to a dog park before.  Is there a special procedure to letting my dog in?

The dog park has a 'double gate' at the entrance.  Enter the gated area and make sure all gates are shut.  Before letting your dog into the park, please remove its leash.  Then proceed to open the gate in front of you.  The gate to the right is for exiting only.  Make sure the gate is securely shut for the next patron.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:  This 'unleashing area' is small.  If there is someone in the unleashing area, please wait until they've entered the park before opening the gate.  Dogs that are unfamiliar with each other may feel threatened in a small enclosed area.

Likewise - if you are leaving the park and there is someone in the enclosed area, please wait until they are in the park before you open the gate.
